Time Elevator Jerusalem

The Time Elevator Jerusalem is a 25-minute multi-media presentation that tells us about the fascinating story of the City of Jerusalem. With an exhilarating original film written by historians and archeologists, featuring special effects, it is absolutely a one-of-a kind interactive experience as one goes back through Jerusalem’s long, chaotic and unforgettable history 3,000 years ago. Chaim Topol, the star of “Fiddler on the Roof” takes part as the lead individual who will take us in a time travel moving through Jerusalem’s historic turning points; starting with the City of David and ending in the 1967 Six-Day War.

The people will take a view of Prophet Jeremiah’s conflict with King Zedekiah and revive the devastation of the First and Second Temples. Along the way, the audience will witness the Roman Conquest, birth of Christianity and the emergence of Islam, how they took over the Holy Land for centuries and the drama behind the formation of Israel.  This presentation ends with an exquisite journey over the Jerusalem of today.  This unique experience clearly combines learning and enjoyment in its best form.

The highly modernized and revolutionary motion-based seating, with each seat able to move in 6 (six) different directions, is the 1st of its kind in Israel, along with the panoramic screens and special effects meticulously coordinated to the actions of the film are all incredibly combined.  Headphones are offered to visitors and they can enjoy the benefit of choosing to listen to the show in English, Russian, French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Italian or Hebrew.

Stationary seats are available for heart patients, pregnant woman or for those with motion sickness. The attraction is not suitable for children under 5 years old.  The admission fee is NIS 50 for adults and NIS 40 for children.
