Bio Ramon Museum

Bio Ramon Museum displays the wildlife of the desert and the crater. Precious collection of desert animals and plants presented is divided into two areas, an indoor interpretation center and an outdoor place recreating the Negev desert scenery, with sand, cliffs, riverbeds, small spring and more. Discover the exceptional tricks and means that made them survive the cruel environment. You could also learn the unique ecosystem of the great dessert.

Bio Ramon Museum is also a perfect learning center for kids. Notable stories of the smaller animals and a peek into the marvelous world of the unique, hidden animals will amaze the children. The museum also provides variety of “find the treasure” games and definitely the best way to start familiarizing the different desert animals.

Bio Ramon Museum offers a lot to the visitors. It includes a live museum, skilled and trained guides for each visitor, fun, enjoyable games and creative artwork with multi-colored sands and sediments of the Ramon Crater for the children and special evening tours are available upon request.

Opening hours are as follows: Summer – Weekdays & Saturday 8:00 – 17:00, Friday & holyday eve 8:00 – 16:00 / Winter – Weekdays & Saturday 8:00 – 16:00, Friday & holyday eve 8:00 – 15:00. The admission fee for the adults is 12 NIS and 6 NIS for children above 5 years old.
