Shimon Peres Pardons Yosef Banda, 1 of 3 Bochurim Arrested in Japan

Three years after the three Bochurim were arrested in Japan on charges of smuggling of dangerous substances, Enlightening News Spread across the Charedi World when one Yosef Banda was released yesterday after serving his sentence the last year in Israel, all made possible by Israeli  President Shimon Peres at the recommendation of Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman,who  signed an order - a pardon, in coordination with law enforcement authorities of Japan.

This part of the story closes this a painful episode that  stirred many within the Orthodox Jewish community in recent years.
