Captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit’s conditions are better than those of Palestinian prisoners in Israel, said a senior Hamas official in an interview with the Arabic language daily Al Hayat. The official, Mousa Abu Marzook, stated that Schalit is given his full rights unlike Palestinian prisoners. He added that Schalit is not allowed visitors because that would compromise the secrecy of his hiding place.
