So Chelsea Clinton married a Jewish guy. I’m not a presidential scholar so I can’t say with any certainty if her husband is the first Jewish presidential child-in-law. Maybe one of my regular “License to Kvell” kvellers will know and clue us in.
I don’t remember reading much about the wedding. Maybe that’s just because I’ve been so busy lately trying (and often failing) to keep my head above water that I haven’t been reading as many newspapers and magazines as I used to. I’m fairly certain that the wedding cost more than I’ve earned in the last three years combined, so maybe subliminally I didn’t want to read about it.
