Woman of Valor
by Artist Baruch Nachshon

Illuminated manuscript of the full Hebrew text of ‘The Woman of Valor’ from Proverbs shows a family near Jerusalem. Vines form the letters zayin and vav which are representative of deep kabbilstic meaning of it being the woman of valor who ‘rectifies her husband’s will by elevating him to ever new awareness of previously superconscious realms of the soul.’ (Quoted from Yitzchak Ginsbburgh by Baruch Nachshon.)

Nachshon paints in order to define and emphasize the presence of the Divine will in creation. Each painting can be studied in the manner of a sacred text, providing numerous and vivid insights into the workings of creation and the promises held for the future.
