Three people killed in light aircraft crash in Haifa

Three people were killed Thursday when a light aircraft crashed in Haifa’s airport.

According to initial reports, the plane’s engine burst into flames when the aircraft was taking off, causing it to crash in the site of the Haifa Airbase Technical School.

Magen David Adom rescue services reported that the three people were dead at the site of the crash.

Last month, two people died in a similar crash in northern Israel.
